WHAT CAN YOU DO IN ISTANBUL?

Hello my friends, today i am going to write about my hometown from Istanbul. In my hometown you can do so many things special.Firstly, you can travel historical places which are Hagia Mosque,Blue Mosque,Maidens Tower,Galata Tower and the other places. In these areas you should take pictures with historical figures such as;hanging motifs on the wall.If you are hungry, you should eat kebab or pastries and after the meal you have to try our best desserts that are baklava, sutlac, kunefe and the other things. Also if you have time you must have you dinner near the Bosphorus Bridge because at the midnight time ,the view is so pretty and you can take your best photos in this place.Secondly, you should go Taksim Square where all the people go and you can meet real Turkish people. If you lost your way,you can ask them because Turkish people are so helpful and kind. Finally, the worse thing but popular thing is traffic in Istanbul. If you are trying to go somewhere,do not use your car or bus.Use the subways and enjoy it.

The next thing about NYC is foods. You can find everything in here because this city is international and almost every countries have a towns. For example; China Town,Korean Town.If you want to try something new which is new desserts, drinks,or foods you can find easily.I have been trying new foods in NYC that are Chinese,Korean,Arabic, and Russian kitchens. The other thing about NYC is transportation.I think NYC’s transportation is better than Istanbul because in Istanbul, traffic is kind of trouble-maker.However ,sometimes the trains are delayed or canceled and you will late your school. But usually it’s fine and that’s it about my 7 months experiences I hope I could provide important information about NYC. :))))

In 9/11 terrorists attacked the Twin Towers and these two buildings are collapsed. After 5 years later, World Trace Center built by USA.Also this building’s height is 1,776 feet(541) that is the tallest tower in NYC.Third place of my tour is Native American Museum where is standing in the Bowling Green. The first name of this museum was Alexander Hamilton Custom House who was the fourth president of USA.This museum has a 4 statues from Africa,UK,China, and USA.Fourth place is Charging Bull that is standing in Bowling Green too. This bull loves from the tourists ,but if you are New Yorker you will pass the bull without looking everyday, because there is nothing interesting. This bull’s weight is 7.100 pound and the height is 16 feet(4.5 meters).Fifth place is the Stock Exchange. In 1700’s used to be a wall because protecting themselves. After that, people hadn’t gone there because they thought it was dangerous. And Federal Hall. This place built by George Washington who is the first president of the USA,and George Washington gave steps in this place because NYC was the first capital of the USA.The last one which is the most popular place in Lower Manhattan is the Battery Park. This park has a Castle Clinton and you can buy ticket to go to the Statue of Liberty. You can read book, watch movies or watch the squirrels. You can find these places easily because all of them are so closer with each other.Yes my friends that’s it for today and see you soon.

ABOUT MYSELF AND NYC

Hi.My name is Abdulkadir from Turkey.I came to the NYC for learning english.I’ve been here 7 months and I really like the NYC without subway system because whenever you are in a hurry the trains always are delayed or canceled.I might have been late my class for 7 times because of the trains. However, you will get used to late your class and you’ll know to leave your house earlier than before. You need to have experience to understand things and it takes time. The interesting thing about the NYC is it’s hard to make friend from America ,but you will make friends from the other countries such as South Korea,Brazil,Columbia,Europe, and Saudi Arabia. The funniest thing about NYC is when you understand your friends are kidding with you or the other guys ,you really enjoy at that time.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
